Our working holiday in the Solomon Islands – Part 2

After a great week with Dive Munda and Agnes Gateway Hotel we flew on the national courier Solomon Airlines from Munda to Honiara over emerald islets in a sapphire sea. While Melissa chatted with the flight attendant about scuba diving, I read an article about scuba diving in the Solomons written and photographed by our Australian friends Nigel Marsh and Helen Rose. One of the dive sites mentioned was the B-17 Betsy Bomber. Intrigued by their account, we formulated a plan for the next day. We checked into fine accommodation at the Heritage Park Hotel, assembled cameras once again, and rested up for re-submersion.
