The Driftwood experience incorporates adventure and nature with a touch of luxury. Everything in the house has been made from scratch using natural materials and over 70% of fallen trees – Driftwood. The house contains a large open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area central to the house with stunning views of the ocean, neighboring islands and the expansive star filled night sky and romantic moon. It is designed for comfort and relaxation and is completely screened. There are three unique rooms all with private ensuite bathrooms. Two rooms contain a king bed that can be split into two singles (ocean view or forest view). The third room is a loft room with ocean view bathroom and balcony. It has a double bed and a single day bed. For the times that you would like to take a break from lagoon adventure, the house has a large wrap around verandah and landscaped outdoor sitting areas.
Your host loves all ocean adventures and can organise trips for diving, snorkeling, spearfishing, all types of boat fishing, visits to nearby uninhabited islands for picnic days, kayak trips and the list goes on. Scuba diving can be pre-arranged through Solomons Dive Adventures at nearby Minado Lodge prior to you coming. If ocean adventures are not your interest, then there’s a range of land activities that can be organized. Trek to a waterfall, learn how to weave local baskets or get creative in the workshop and learn how to make your own special souvenir using fallen.
